Baldur's Gate (NE) chap.7 In this part of the city you’ll meet your old pal Husam from the thieves’ guild and he’ll reveal his true identity. You can also access the Undercellar from this part of town. 1- HUSAM: If you talked with him in the Eastern part of Baldur’s Gate you’ll meet Husam around this spot. Accept to follow him and some of his associates will show up. Husam then tells you that he is a Shadow Thief from Amn sent in the region because his organization as well as the whole Amnish nation has been unjustly involved in a dispute with Baldur’s Gate. He knows that Sarevok and the Iron Throne are the guilty parts and that the 2 Night Masks who have been involved in the framing of the Shadow Thieves in the murder of Duke Entar can be found at the Undercellar. He then asks you to follow him at location (2). 2- HUSAM: Tells you that the Priest of Ilmater in the shrine will lead you to the Undercellar where you’ll find Sarevok’s assassins, Slythe and Krystin. He tells you to meet him back there once you have killed them. When you do tell him that Slythe and Krystin were to be involved together with some dopplegangers in the assassinations of Duke “Belt” and Duke Liia Jannath he tells you to go to the Duchal Palace(Northern part of BG) soon as the coronation happens tonight. He then tells you that he’ll use the sewers with his associates but that you shouldn’t rely on them too much (which is actually the case…). 3- ILMATER’S SHRINE: Priest of Ilmater: Read his babblings about Sune and at some point he offers you to go to the Undercellar. Accept and you’ll be taken there. 4- BLUSHING MERMAID: Ivanne: An old dwarf (or gnome) who tells you the circumstance in which Scar was killed if you give him 10 gp. It appears that a doppleganger is to be blamed and as you well know dopplegangers exclusively work for the Iron Throne (and Sarevok, this is). Entrance to the Undercellar: There is an entrance to the Undercellar on the first floor of the inn if you don’t want to go to Ilmater’s Shrine.
