Location: A21




This area is located just East of the Nashkel Mines and is rather peaceful. Monsters and bandits tend to avoid it because nobody ever passes through it. However, wild animals and gibberlings inhabit the region, so be careful.

1- BLOOD:

This side of the cliff is all covered by blood, as though somebody had been beaten to death there. Some gibberlings can also be found over there.

2- LENA:

Asks you to help her lover, Samuel, who has been beaten up badly when he deserted the Flaming Fists. She doesn’t know for how long he’ll live and asks you to bring Samuel to Gellana Mirrorshade at the Temple of Wisdom. You receive 500 Exp., +1 Reputation and 2 potions for doing so: an Elixir of Health and a Potion of Heroism. Note that if you take too long to bring Samuel to Gellana, he'll die and you'll get no rewards whatsoever.

3- HAFIZ:

An old dwarf who had violent dreams about you. If you are nice with him, he gives you a Scroll of Protection from Magic.

4- FLAMING FIST MERCENARY:

He first asks you to identify yourselves. If you say that you are Amnish mercenaries, he leaves you alone. If you say that you are adventurers, he asks you to keep an eye open for a deserter named Samuel. A bounty of 50 gp. has been placed on his head. If you say that you are bandits, he attacks you(not tested, thought). Finally, if you have Samuel with you, he asks you who you are carrying. You can turn him over(not recommended) or tell the mercenary that he’s a merchant who’s been wounded when his caravan was raided by bandits and that you bring him to Beregost. If you say otherwise, the mercenary figures out that you’re lying and attacks you. Your reputation takes a hit for killing him!

5- SPOILER (LOCATION: X 1955, Y 2372):

There is an Iol Gem, a Star Saphire (worth 1000 gp.) and a Ring of Fire Resistance (40% fire resistance) in a crack.
