Location: A17 The Xvart village is situated just West of Nashkel, sheltered between the mountains. Despite being monsters, the Xvarts still build homes and they have create a little society. However, it is about time that somebody gives them a lesson. They raid continually the towns and villages of the humans; well now it is their turn to be raided. NOTE: never reload your game while in the village. The Xvarts will respawn and you’ll have big troubles! 1- BORDA: A merchant who tries to sell you a Potion of Extra Healing and 2 Protection Scrolls for a very low price. Be careful, as they are all cursed! Instead, you can attack Borda and kill him. The fight is not so easy since he is a spell caster and that he is magic resistant. He casts such things as Mirrored Image, Horror and Magic Missiles. If you do kill him, however, you’ll get 900 Exp., 74 gp., a Short Sword +1 and 2 scrolls: Web and Color Spray. 2- NEXLIT THE XVART: Be prepared for a really big fight around this spot. There are Xvarts everywhere and they all attack you. It shouldn’t be too hard to dispatch them if you are a level 4-5 party. Nexlit is their leader and if you let him talk to you, he summons a bear which is the protector of their village. Therefore, kill Nexlit before he gets to talk to you. 3- CAVE: You’ll first have to fight a Cave Bear upon entering this cave. It is worth a good 650 Exp. Then, you can loot the chest in the middle for a Potion of Fire Resistance, a Flail +1 and some Bracers of Defense AC8. ------------------------- B. Bears W. Wolves X. Xvarts
