Location: A16 Another wilderness area, this one sheltering an unusual number of Ogres and Ogre Berserkers. Wild animals are also quite frequent. 1- JARED: A nobleman who asks you to prevent the Mountain Bear (2) to cross the bridge and attack him. You get 150 Exp. for doing so and some Boots of the North if your charisma is high enough. 2- MOUNTAIN BEAR: The Mountain Bear Jared wants you to kill. He is worth a good 900 Exp. 3- NEVILLE: Neville is one of the numerous bandits plaguing the region. You can choose to attack him and he’ll summon 5 Hobgoblin Archers. The fight is easy and Neville is worth 600 Exp. He also carries a Long Sword +1, a scroll of Dispel Magic and a Scalp. 4- BRIDGE: There are 2 Ogre Berserkers and 3 Hobgoblin Elites awaiting you here. The fight can become a bit tough as the Ogre Berserkers have a lot of HPs and the Hobgoblin Elites shoot poisoned arrows. 5- LAUREL: A paladin who asks for your assistance to fight a herd of gibberlings. She also hints to the fact that they are vulnerable to fire, making the spell Fireball or the Necklace of Missiles particularly useful in this fight. You get 250 Exp. for helping her. 6- OGRE: You find him eating and if you talk to him a second time, he decides to make you his desert! ------------------------- B. Brown and Cave Bears G.
