Location: A11 This area is just South of Beregost, which means that most bandits and monsters avoid it. If lucky, you could even meet a traveler on the road between Baldur’s Gate and Amn. The Flaming Fists are also known to patrol the area, despite the recent troubles and bandit raids. 1- KID: A kid in search for some berries despite the danger of an imminent bandit raid. 2- MESSENGER: The messenger who was hired by Roe, Mirianne’s husband, to bring her a note announcing his safe arrival in Amn. Unfortunately, the messenger has been killed by 2 Ogrillons which you’ll have to dispatch in order to get the message. Then, return it to Mirianne in Beregost. 3- FLAMING FIST MERCENARY: He mistakes you for the bandits who have been plaguing the region in the past few months. You can talk your way out of it(choices: 1-3), or you can kill him for his Plate Mail since you lose no Reputation. 4- HOBGOBLINS: Three hobgoblins who have stolen Zhurlong’s pair of Boots of Stealth. Kill them and bring back the boots to Zhurlong at the Burning Wizard in Beregost for a nice reward. Alternatively, you may wish to just keep the boots. 5- CAVE: An empty cave with a box in the middle. The box contains 29 gp. and 5 Potions of Healing. ------------------------- H.
